Our services include the build and operation of high altitude communication platforms (HAP’s) for telecom’s, mapping and observation purposes and the altitude launch of nano and micro Satellites. CHAP (Communications High Altitude Platforms) is capable of coastal monitoring, mapping data services, remote access communications stations and humanitarian search and rescue operations.
Spin-off technology developments include innovative heat storage systems capable of storing heat energy for years and inter-seasonal purposes and utilising low-grade waste heat sources from such as former mine workings air, waste heat from municipal buildings and solar thermal sources and CHP plants. Further innovative work on non-lithium based battery storage is proving to be very exiting.
